Sponsored HK$0.84 million for the procurement of Hyperthermia Pump in the conduct of Heated Intraoperative Peritoneal Chemotherapy for patients with peritoneal surface malignancy. Such system can enhance effectiveness of intraperitoneal chemotherapy, shorten the operative time and increase ability to kill cancer cells.
