Sponsored Department of Surgery $0.84 Million in support of Heated Intraoperative Peritoneal Chemotherapy (Sep 2020)
Sponsored HK$0.84 million for the procurement of Hyperthermia Pump in the conduct of Heated Intraoperative Peritoneal Chemotherapy for patients with peritoneal surface malignancy. Such system can enhance effectiveness of intraperitoneal chemotherapy, shorten the operative time and increase ability to kill cancer cells.
